The company and people behind Digital OORT
Digital OORT is the company and team behind a remote talent platform that verifies AI-era professionals before clients commit. It was built to remove the gamble of hiring remote talent sight unseen.
The company runs as two connected arms: a talent platform at digitaloort.com and an Australian marketing agency at digitaloort.com.au. It serves startups, agencies and growing companies that hire remotely, and holds itself to three standards — verify talent on a live screen-share, state only what it can prove, and back every match with a 48-hour replacement guarantee.
Digital OORT started in 2021 from a problem its founders kept meeting: a remote hire looks right on a resume, then fails on the first real task. The company answered that gap with a single idea — that a buyer should watch a professional work before committing, not after. Every part of how Digital OORT operates traces back to that one decision: show the work, do not describe it.
Company details owned by Shafqat Baig, Founder.
Two arms, one company
We keep the two arms distinct so each does one job well. A client who needs a person to hire works with the platform; a client who needs a project delivered works with the agency.
Both arms are the same legal entity — one company, two ways of working with it.
Hire a verified professional
The talent platform matches companies with verified remote professionals to hire directly. Every one is watched working on a live screen-share before you commit, and a hire that does not fit is replaced within 48 hours. You direct the work; we handle the matching and the management around it.
Hand off a whole project
The agency arm delivers done-for-you marketing for Australian service businesses. Rather than placing a person in your team, it takes a brief and returns finished work, with one team owning the outcome from start to launch.
The people who vet are not anonymous
We put real, named people behind the work, because a promise to verify talent only holds if someone is accountable for it. That is the point of this section, and the reason it carries names rather than a stock photo.
Both are named because the standard is theirs to answer for — you know who to hold to it.
Shafqat Baig, Founder
Leads the company and remains accountable for the platform’s vetting standard. The commitment to verify every professional on a live screen-share is his to answer for.
Shafique Ur Rehman, Managing Director
Owns the vetting process end to end, and runs every candidate through the five stages — the profile and AI-tool screen, the paid task, the live screen-share, the reference check and the scored decision. The full method is on our vetting page.
Remote by model, not by circumstance
We work with startups, agencies and growing companies that hire remotely, and operate on a remote model rather than from a single office market. That is what lets us match a role across time zones quickly. Clients hire the person; we handle the matching and the management around them.
Islamabad, Pakistan
Apartment 40, Gulberg Heights, Gulberg Expy, Gulberg Greens Block A, Islamabad 44000. Where the network is sourced, vetted and managed — the five-stage process runs from here, day in and day out.
Melbourne, Australia
Ground Floor, 470 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004. The registered office, and home of the agency arm at digitaloort.com.au.
Three rules we will not break
A standard a company cannot be held to is not a standard, so each of these is written to be checkable rather than admired.
Each commitment is described in full on our vetting page.
Verify Talent On A Live Screen-Share
Every professional is watched working on a real task before a client commits. Not a resume scan, not a score from an algorithm — a person watching the work happen.
State Only What We Can Prove
We avoid any claim we cannot show. A number we cannot stand behind is worth less than no number at all, so the page you are reading carries fewer of them on purpose.
Back Every Match With A 48-Hour Replacement
A hire that does not fit is replaced within 48 hours. A standard a company cannot be held to is not a standard, so each of these is written to be checkable.
Apart from both common models, on purpose
We sit apart from an open marketplace and from an automated screener, because both leave the part that matters undone. We do the screening ourselves, with a person watching a live task, so what reaches you is already verified.
Not An Open Marketplace
A marketplace hands you a wall of unverified profiles and leaves the vetting to you — the sorting, the testing, and the cost of a wrong pick. We do that screening ourselves, before you see anyone.
Not An Automated Screener
An automated screener scores candidates with no human watching the work. We put a person on a live task with the candidate, because a score cannot tell you how someone reasons through a decision.
The detail is one click away
Our vetting page lays out the full five-stage method and how it works covers the hiring process around it. The roles below show who you can bring on now. All of them lead back to the same standard described here.
Vibe Coding Developers
Engineers who direct Cursor, Claude Code and Copilot to build MVPs, internal tools, AI agents and integrations at prototype speed — and prove it on a live screen-share you watch.
Content Writers
Writers who use AI to research and draft faster, and bring the judgment, fact-checking and brand voice it can't — structured so AI answers can quote you, not only rank you.
Virtual Assistants
Real estate, e-commerce, executive and support assistants matched to the tools their industry already runs on — and verified on the automation that decides how much admin one person can carry.
